A Month to Honor God

Friend, praise the name of The Almighty God! I know that you are blessed and well-kept of the LORD. My wife and I continue to be grateful for His grace, love and favor that He constantly showers upon us and yes, His mercies that are new every morning.

This month, get ready to Honor God the Father, God The Son and God The Holy Spirit. Simply put, Get ready to Honor God!

How can you honor whom you do not know? This month may God reveal Himself to you in a special way in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. My prayer is that you will desire to know Him and like Paul, the cry of your heart will be “that I may know Him”. Not just know about Him BUT Know Him! Better still, knowing God is good but honoring Him is better. My prayer is that you will go beyond just knowing God to honoring Him. You see, friend, you honor those you respect. You honor those you adore and my heart’s cry is that you will purpose to make God the center of your life in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

God’s desire

God makes His desire clear in the book of Revelation. In Revelation 21:4, the Bible clearly states as follows:

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the Tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself shall be with them, and be their God.”

Friend, do you see God’s desire – to dwell with you!

Again, look at what God tells Moses in Exodus 25:8 “And let them make me a sanctuary that I may dwell with them.”

Here also you see God’s desire – to dwell with you!

Look at God in the Garden of Eden, we see Him asking in Genesis 3:9 “And the Lord God called unto Adam and said unto him, Where are you?

My friend, never forget that it is God’s desire from the very beginning of creation to have fellowship with and to dwell among us.

 Honor Him!

Given God’s desire to dwell with you, when you make a decision to honor Him, He delights greatly in such a step. He is worthy to be honored. He is worthy to be lifted up not just for what He has done but simply for Who He is! He is Faithful; Yes, He is Dependable; He is Reliable; He is Gracious; He is Merciful; He never fails – even when everyone else fails, He is Secure – A True Rock of Ages; He deserves to be called The Ancient of Days!

Let us honor Him with songs of praise, Let us honor Him with our time in service to His ministry; Let us honor Him with our substance; Let us honor Him by giving Him the first place in everything we do.  Friend, let us welcome Him in our homes; let us welcome Him in our marriages, let us welcome Him on the job – He is waiting and it is my prayer that this month you will make a deliberate effort to honor Him with all your strength, all your might, all your mind and above all honor Him above everything else in your life. May nothing have a greater place than that which God has occupied in your life in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Those who God honors

Remember, God honors those who honor Him. Do not be surprised if you begin to receive uncommon honors after you have purposed to honor Him in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. God will cause people you have never met to begin to honor you. Solomon received visitors from as far as Africa because of honoring God. The sacrifice that Solomon gave to God is one of the greatest recorded in the Bible. As Elisha honored God, a Shunammite woman honored him. Get ready to receive uncommon honors this month as we honor God. This however should not be the overriding motivator – Just honor Him. He deserves all the glory, all the honor and all the Power!

Last month we declared that God is The Way Maker, The Solution Giver, The Wisdom; Understanding – The Only Wise God. Let us honor Him for indeed He is the Unsearchable One, The Only Wise God.

He will lift you up

This month, let us honor Him and as you lift Him up, He too will lift you up in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. May He grant you a glorious, peaceful, miracle filled month in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

God bless you.
