A Month of Fresh Fire

Praise the Lord! I hope you are well and blessed of the Lord. My wife and I are well and thank God for His delivering power. This July, we saw Him move in a mighty way on our behalf by delivering my wife from an accident. We thank you for your constant prayers for us and we know that the Lord will reward you. God continues to remain faithful towards us and for this, we give HIM thanks.

Friend, I hear the words “Fresh Fire, Fresh Anointing, Fresh Thirsting” and it is my prayer that this month God will release a FRESH FIRE upon you that will move you to the next level in the things of God.

In John 7:37-38 the Bible records:

“In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.”

Jesus Cried

Friend, Jesus was a Master Teacher. He had excellent teaching skills and would use different methods to get His message across. He used parables, stories and even direct quotes from the Scriptures. He used illustrations that were easily understood by the ordinary people of His day such as a fig tree, using talents, using bread, using a lamp etc. He was excellent in whatever method He used. In the scripture above, it was the last day of the great feast. Jesus would have sat quietly and enjoyed the feast without causing any commotion. BUT, the Master Teacher was at it again. Something burned inside of HIM and He could not hold it. He stood up and CRIED. It was Not just a whisper BUT a CRY (Selah, Pause and calmly think about this). Other Bible versions say He stood and said this in a LOUD voice. The Master did not want any student to miss out on the point He was about to make. I pray that you too will not miss it in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Any man

Many great truths can easily be missed or escape us without notice unless one is careful. Jesus goes on to say “any man”. What the Master teacher is declaring is that the principle He is going to make is not dependent on an individual’s financial standing, a person’s country of birth, age, church affiliation or any such thing. Not at all. “Any man” means “any man”. You and I included. God is no respecter of persons. You can be a stammerer like Moses, blind like Bartimeaus; lame like Mephibosheth or born outside of the chosen people like the Samaritan woman. God’s laws do not take these things into account. In fact, the Bible records that the disciples were “uneducated” but God never looks at what man looks at. Jesus says “any man”. I pray that at no point in your life will you ever think that some of the blessings of God are only meant for certain people and not for you in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. I pray to God that He pours on you and I the fire to pursue all that He has in store for us in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Thirst

The Great Rabbi, The Master Teacher, then goes ahead and issues a great KEY to having the fire and the anointing of God over our lives. THIRST. Jesus says, “..If any man thirst..” Friend, this key will revolutionalize you if you grasp it. I pray that God will open your heart to receive it in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Thirsting for the things of God; Thirsting for His Presence, Thirsting for His glory, Thirsting for Revelation Knowledge, Thirsting for Righteousness etc. Friend, let your prayer be “God grant me a thirst for everything you have in store for me in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.”

David, “…a man after God’s heart…”Acts 13:22 discovered this Key and constantly pursued it. In Psalm 143:6 we read “I stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.” We read more of David’s heart cry in Psalms 63:1 “O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is”. In Psalm 42:1, The Psalmist declares
As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.”

Friend, today, make a conscious decision to thirst after the things of God and He will honor you with fresh fire in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. May God cause you to thirst for more of Him in your prayer time, your time of fasting and even when you are reading His Word. May He enlarge your hunger and thirst for more of Him in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Friend, I pray that you will never reach a point where you will be satisfied with the things of God in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Instead, like the Apostle Paul, may you continue to press towards the mark through hunger and thirst each and every day in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Come and to me

The Glorious Teacher doesn’t just leave us wandering but He directs us to the source of the water that will quench our thirst forever…Himself. He says “…come unto me..”. The Psalmist tapped into this source and declared in Psalms 46:4 “There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.”. Friend, may you tap into this fountain in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. May your hunger and thirst lead you to HIM in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. HE is the source. In HIM is life and this life will make you and I glad. HE is the Author and Finisher of our faith. Friend, in times when whole nations are bankrupt, companies are bankrupt, politicians are bankrupt and even some pulpits are bankrupt, Jesus will never be bankrupt. He is the source of all that you need. HE is the same yesterday, today and forever more. You can depend on HIM and can be rest assured that HE will never let you down. HE is the only constant in a constantly changing world. Friend – I give you Jesus. He is tried and tested; HE is Faithful and True. A Friend that sticks closer than a brother. Seek HIM, hunger and thirst for HIM and the fire of God will fall afresh on you. May these words of the songwriter be your lifestyle ..

“I need Thee, O I need Thee;
Every hour I need Thee;
O bless me now, my Savior,
I come to Thee.”

Friend, the Prophet Isaiah reminds us in Isaiah 55:1 “Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.” May God grant you and I an unquenchable hunger and thirst for HIM.

And drink…out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water

Friend, God has a drink ready for you and I. He says in Revelation 21:6 “And he said unto me, They are come to pass. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.” Friend, I pray that as you will come to HIM, so HE will give to you to drink the new wine like that which was poured out on the day of Pentecost. As you drink, may a fresh fire be ignited in your spirit in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. I pray for fresh revelation knowledge of who God is and that out of your spirit, God will pour out rivers that will be a blessing to many. I pray for divine connection of your spirit with the source, God Himself, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. God is beckoning us “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And he that heareth, let him say, Come. And he that is athirst, let him come: he that will, let him take the water of life freely.” Revelation 22:17.

May Fresh Fire fall on you this month as you hunger and thirst for God in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.

Remain blessed,

Bro. Chester
