Friend, Happy New Year. What a joy to enter the year 2012. I trust that God who has kept you well thus far will continue to be with you throughout this year in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
My wife and I are well and are thankful to God for 2011. We are excited and looking forward to what the Master has in store for His people this year. Never forget that we love you and pray that God will bless and keep you and cause His face to shine upon you this year in Jesus mighty name, Amen. The number 12 is biblically very significant. It symbolizes establishment, order, government and ministry. This is seen in the establishment of the twelve tribes of Israel, the choosing of the twelve disciples and it is no surprise that the first time we see Jesus publicly asking the Pharisees questions is at the age of twelve. So, get ready to see Gods re-establishment of your life, your marriage, your ministry and your vision in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
Friend, This Year, 2012, is a Year to Arise, Pick up your mat and Walk.
John 5:2-9 records the following …
2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, in Aramaic called Bethesda, which has five roofed colonnades. 3 In these lay a multitude of invalids—blind, lame, and paralyzed. One man was there who had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there and knew that he had already been there a long time, he said to him, “Do you want to be healed?” 7 The sick man answered him, “Sir, I have no one to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, and while I am going another steps down before me.” 8 Jesus said to him, “Get up, take up your bed, and walk.” 9 And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked.
Friend, to step into this establishment, God desires that you Arise, Pick up your mat and Walk.
Arise
You cannot arise on your own. The Master will infuse divine strength in you. He is the one that will single you out and cause you to arise. There were many people at the pool in a similar situation as this man but Jesus singled him out. This year, get ready to be singled out from among many and expect divine assistance that will cause you to arise. This man had been in this state for a long time, 38 years, but his circumstances changed suddenly when he was singled out. Expect to be singled out this year and expect a sudden change in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
When Jesus declared “Arise”, everything needed to enable the man to arise became available and the man arose. This year, the Master has made available everything that is needed to lift you up, to promote you, to make you to stand out in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. When a man arises, he is re-positioned. Where hitherto he was in a position where men could easily trample upon him, now he is lifted to a position of safety. I decree this is your portion in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Friend, when you arise, you become relevant and can no longer be ignored. Your season for recognition has come in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. This is the season for you to arise all around. Those that never took notice of you have no option but to notice that you are no longer down. Those that desired and prayed that you remain down will be put to shame as “The glory and the lifter of your head” turns your “mourning into dancing again”. Get ready!! In your prayer life you are arising, in your work place you are arising, your ministry is arising, academically you are arising, as a family you are arising. It is an all-around elevation in Jesus glorious name, Amen.
Pick up your mat
The next command Jesus gave to the man was “Pick up your mat”. Friend, the words of our Saviour Jesus Christ have the power to turn around any situation. This command released strength to the man and he immediately started to carry that with which he was carried for so many years. This year, expect situations to turn around in Jesus mighty name, Amen. This year, God is turning things around for you. You will have victory over that which used to oppress, suppress, depress and frustrate you in Jesus mighty name, Amen. You will be in charge in places where you used to receive orders. It is a year where you will take your rightful place as a child of the King.
Taking up your mat means that your testimonies will be evident from afar. Even without you uttering a word, everyone will see what God has done in your life. It will be crystal clear for all to see in Jesus mighty name, Amen. So, prepare for testimonies galore, mind boggling testimonies that will be so clear that all will know that it is the doing of the Lord and it is marvelous in our eyes.
Walk
The other command Jesus gave to the man was “walk”. Friend, this man had never walked before! God is going to lead us into paths that we have never trodden before. God will cause us to enter into new realms of glory, deeper intimacy with God and new heights in prayer in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. Expect the unexpected. This man could not walk but at the command of Jesus, he began to walk. God will release uncommon instructions to you this year in Jesus Mighty name, Amen. In addition, expect a destruction of the spirit of stagnation. You will no longer remain stagnant, the Maker of Universe will grant you everything necessary for you to move to your next level. No more stagnation in Jesus mighty name, Amen. This year, you will move from glory to glory, from victory to victory, from one level of elevation to another level. Yes, God Almighty, the one who lifts up men will surely lift you up in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
Conclusion
Friend, get ready “Arise, Pick up your Mat and Walk”, this is your season to arise and when God declares “Arise”, no force of gravity can pull you down in Jesus mighty name, Amen.
