DO YOU HEAR THE CRY?

“So passing by Mysia, they went down to Troas. There a vision appeared to Paul in the night: a man from Macedonia stood pleading with him and saying, Come over to Macedonia and help us. And when he had seen the vision, (including Luke) at once endeavored to go to Macedonia, confidently inferring that God had called us to proclaim the glad tidings (Gospel) to them.” (TAB 16:9-10)

Friends, Paul received a vision of one crying and begging him to go to Macedonia, a cry for help, a cry to go and proclaim the Gospel. Paul went and things happened. Following the casting out of the spirit of divination from the slave girl, Paul and Silas were attacked, their clothes torn off their backs; they were beaten with rods, struck with blows and then thrown into prison.

But none of theses events deterred Paul from proclaiming the Gospel. The fearless proclamation and miraculous visitation of God resulted in the slave girl being set free from a spirit of divination, Lydia, a dealer in fabrics, was baptized along with her household and the jailer and his entire household were saved.

Friends, the cry has not ceased. Rather it has multiplied millions of times. Now it is not only Macedonia but cries are being heard from the nooks and corners of the world. The cries are now louder and will get louder still and today they are multi-faceted. Nations are crying because of sin and debauchery, Christians are being persecuted, children are being coerced into a life of promiscuity, drugs, alcohol and sex for lack of godly example, millions of people are still worshipping the ‘Unknown God” or other gods in the form of cows, statues, gods with eyes but cannot see, with feet but cannot move, gods that need assistance from those who created them.

Friends, nations are on the verge of eternity and each second, millions of people are plunging into hell. My friend, do you hear the cry? God is asking, who will I send? Are you available to be used by the King of Kings.

Father, I pray that you will open the ears of your children so that the cry of these nations, the people of the world, may be loud and clear. I pray that you cause us to answer “Here I am Lord, send me.” Lord, there is no one that you send without making available the necessary provision. So thank you for giving us the energy, necessary resources, connections and time to be able to answer the cry of the nations. Father, thank you for open doors, for visas and other necessary documents to enable us to go wherever you send us.

You said you will give us the nations for our inheritance and the ends of the earth for our possession. We ask for it now Lord. Thank you for your anointing that is released upon us to shake nations in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.  

We cancel every spirit of fear and decree the spirit of power, of love and of a sound mind. Thank you for blessing every move that your children will take in response to your voice. We thank you for dreams and visions that will give us clarity to know your desire, your will for our lives in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen and Amen.
