Praying For Our Spiritual Leaders
Let us pray for Leaders in The Body of Christ along the following lines:
1) Clarity of Vision
Their vision will not be blurred. God will make clear the vision that He has in store for each one of them. Their Spiritual Eyes will see what God wants them to see. Proverbs 29:18, Isaiah 54:2,3
2) Strength
God will renew the strength of these Leaders. Lets pray that God will enable them to wait upon Him so that their strength shall be renewed and that they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. We are in agreement with God’s WORD that like eagles, they shall run after the vision and they will not tire or faint in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Isaiah 40:31, Proverbs 24:5, Nehemiah 8:10
3) Integrity in the House of God
Let us pray for a spirit of “No Compromise” in the house of God. Let us ask God to release a spirit of boldness like that of John the Baptist when he confronted the leaders of his time on issues of immorality. Let us pray for the same spirit that was on Elijah who did not spare Ahab and his cohorts when it came to serving the True Living God. Let us ask God to remove every spirit of fear but fill them with faith.
Proverbs 28:1, Philippians 1:14, I Kings 9:4, Ephesians 6:11
4) Revelation
Each week we expect these men of God, these dear servants of the Lord to bring the Word of God to us. Let us ask God to open the heavens and release a Spirit of Revelation upon them that they may deliver the oracles of God.
Ephesians 1:17, Galatians 1:12
5) Family
Let us ask God to keep and protect their families. The enemy delights in attacking their families so that they are distracted and lose focus. Let us lift them up in prayer and declare that no weapon formed against these families shall prevail and that every tongue raised against them shall not prevail in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Isaiah 54:17, Zechariah 2:5
5) Support
Let us pray that God will stir up the spirit of those standing with these dear servants of God. That a spirit of unity and peace shall prevail and not only will they be intercessors but also encouragers. Let us believe God for the Barnabas spirit. Let us pray that these leaders will not be left to undertake all the work but that they will be committed to prayer and preaching of the Word. God will also raise up people who will support the ministry financially.
Acts 6:1-7, Ephesians 4:11, I Corinthian 12:1-31
May God bless you as you pray. May He meet your own needs in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Your effort is not in vain but will surely be rewarded.
