Do you want to get well?

Friend, Jesus is still asking the same question today - Do you want to get well? His desire is that we be well not just physically, but emotionally, mentally and spiritually. He wants us to be whole and that is why He said, "The thief comes only to kill and steal and destroy; I have come that they may have life and have it to the full." (John 10:10).

Today, you may be physically, emotionally or mentally sick. Remember that Jesus is still Our Healer, the Balm of Gilead and what He did over two thousand years ago, He is well able to do today. He wants us well.

Maybe you are not physically, emotionally or mentally sick, but there is an area in your life or a situation you want the Lord to intervene. Call on Jesus. Tell Him what you want Him to do for you. He said we should call unto Him and He will answer. It may be a situation on your job, regarding your home, your children, your ministry, etc. Whatever it may be, He will heal it. And maybe you need to be healed spiritually. You are living a life of confusion, nothing seems to be going well. You see no light at the end of the tunnel. Friend, you need to invite Jesus into your life to heal you. On the other hand you may have broken fellowship with Him. Ask Him to heal you and help you to return to your first love.

The Bible tells us of the man who had been at the Pool of Bethesda for thirty-eight years. All those years he was unable to get anyone to help him into the pool so that he could be healed. But when Jesus came on the scene - things changed. Jesus asked him, "Do you want to get well?" He then told him to "take up his bed and walk." The Master Carpenter continues to ask, "Do you want to be well?" This day, answer YES, pour out your heart to Him and see Him do a repair work on your situation. It does not matter how long the situation has been that way, He is ABLE to turn any situation around. Remember that "what is impossible with man is possible with God."

Prayer: Lord, thank you for your loving kindness and tender mercies towards your children. Thank you for being a God who wants His people to be whole. Lord, I ask that you intervene and help me (name the sickness/situation). I am confident that you will deliver me because you not only hear but answer prayers. Thank you for the answer in Jesus Precious Name. Amen and Amen.

"When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, He asked him, Do you want to get well? .....Then Jesus said to him, "Get up! Pick up your mat and walk." At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked." (John 5:6-9).
