A Month of Promises Fulfilled
Dear Friend,
Merry Christmas!!! Some would want to greet you happy holidays but we know the reason for the season and it is no ordinary holiday for us that believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I am confident that it is well with you and your household. He is Faithful. My wife and I are well and never cease to thank Him for His goodness and faithfulness towards us. We bless His Name for having enabled us all to see the end of this year.
The Lord has placed in my spirit that this month will be A Month of Promises Fulfilled.
Luke 2:28-38 reads as follows, “Simeon took him in his arms and praised God, saying: "Sovereign Lord, as you have promised, you now dismiss your servant in peace. For my eyes have seen your salvation, which you have prepared in the sight of all people, a light for revelation to the Gentiles and for glory to your people Israel.” The child's father and mother marveled at what was said about him. Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother: "This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against, so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed. And a sword will pierce your own soul too." There was also a prophetess, Anna, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Asher. She was very old; she had lived with her husband seven years after her marriage, and then was a widow until she was eighty-four. She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying. Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.”
Simeon and Anna had been expectantly waiting for God to accomplish that which He had promised, and true enough, at that very hour, before their very eyes, their promises were fulfilled.
For Simeon, the promise was that he would not see death until he had seen the Savior. Death was “kept at bay” until the promise was fulfilled. I don’t know what the Lord has promised you but I am declaring to you today that you will not die but live to see the fulfillment of God’s promises in your life. I repeat, death will not come your way until you see the fulfillment of that which God has promised you in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Remember what Joshua said “Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the LORD your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.” (Joshua 23:14). David too said “I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken, neither their seed beg for bread.” (Psalm 37:25). God has never forsaken anyone and He will not forsake you. The same God who keeps promises will bring your promise to fulfillment in Jesus Faithful Name, Amen.
Anna, the prophetess, had every reason to believe that God will never fulfill the promises He had given to her. She had suffered tragedy. Lost her husband after only seven years of marriage. The Bible says she never remarried but all those years, till she was eighty-four, remained continually in prayer and fasting knowing that God’s Word is true. She understood that God’s Word is like silver which has been tried and purified and can never fail and that when He says it, He will bring it to pass. Her patience paid off and her eyes beheld the Savior. Your patience too will pay off this Season in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Friend, God’s ultimate promise was given in the Book of Genesis where He declared that the seed of a woman would come and crush the head of the serpent. (Genesis 3:15). That promise is reiterated throughout the Bible. In Isaiah 7:13-14, He tells us how The Seed will be born; In Isaiah 9:6, He tells us the Names of The Seed, and in Isaiah Chapter 53, He tells us the ministry of The Seed. The Birth of Jesus is the fulfillment of that beautiful promise. Friend, it is wonderful that Jesus came, it is great that we celebrate Christmas but I believe that the great lesson for us to learn from this, is that God is a Promise Keeper. He is a Promise Fulfiller. Yes, God honors His Word. Has God placed in your heart some dreams, some promises, some visions? Habakuk 2:3 (AMP) says “For the vision is yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end [fulfillment]; it will not deceive or disappoint. Though it tarry, wait [earnestly] for it, because it will surely come; it will not be behindhand on its appointed day” This is your season of fulfilled promises in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
He will do it for you!
Let us pray….
Friend, let us agree in prayer for the promises and dreams God has given to us. “Father, in Jesus Mighty Name, we lift up your Wonderful Name, declaring you are the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. King Jesus, we read in the Word that if we ask anything in your name you shall give it to us. We come with this request. We desire that you intervene in our dreams and bring them to fulfillment in your Precious Name. Lord, just as you did for Simeon and Anna, please do it for us. We desire the salvation of loved ones, we desire the expansion of our ministry, we desire revival, we desire the healing of loved one, we desire that all our household be saved, we desire promotion, we desire that you bless us like you did for Jabez, Solomon and Isaac. Father, do it for us we pray. When we began this year, you promised a harvest, Father, if there is anyone that has not experienced your harvest, meet them at their point of need and let them partake of your great promise in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. God, let every single promise that you have given to us come to pass in Jesus Precious Name, Amen. Father we thank you in advance for promises fulfilled and we walk in this realization and understanding in Jesus Great Name, Amen. Bless us greatly this Christmas season in Jesus Mighty Name Amen. And finally Lord, this season, we ask you to open uncommon doors for us to witness to others about the great God that you are in Jesus Name, Amen. Thank you for your Word which declares that “for surely there is and end and our expectation shall not be cut off” (Proverbs 23:18) in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
