He will turn it around
Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5)
Pain, problems, trouble comes to everyone it is only the form and the magnitude that differs. In other words, everyone at one point or stage in their lives will be faced with pain, problems or trouble. For those of us who know the Lord, we are assured that He is our Helper and that He will see us through. He has promised that He will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31: 5) and that He will fight our battles (2 Chronicles 20:15). These verses make it clear that trouble will come and we will have our night seasons, our time of weeping, but God will be there for us.
The Word of God has also assured us that these problems will only last so long and that our weeping will be turned into joy. In other words, God will work it all out for our good. The Bible tells us about Hannah, wife of Elkanah, who was barren and sometimes taunted by Peninnah, her co-wife. One year, as was their usual custom, they went up to worship in Shiloh and Hannah cried before the Lord and promised that if He gave her a son, she would give him back to God. Hannah’s cry was heard and she gave birth to Samuel who became one of Israel’s greatest prophets.
God heard Hannah’s weeping and turned it into joy. He is still in the business of turning our weeping into joy. He did the same for Joseph. One night Joseph was in prison, the next day he was in the palace. God has not changed. What He did for Hannah and Joseph, He can do for you.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for your Faithfulness. Your Word says that you change not and that you are the same yesterday, today and forever. We continue to stand on your promises that are yea and amen. Lord, we thank you that right now you are turning every kind of mourning in the lives of your children into joy and we give you thanks and praise for it in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen.
