A Month of Fervent Prayer
Dear Friend, Praise the Lord!
There is both an excitement and an urgency in my heart at what God is about to do. God has placed in my heart that this month is A Month of Fervent Prayer.
Everyday, every time one ought always to pray. Infact, we are commanded to pray without ceasing. This month however, there is an urgency for prayer and God is sounding the trumpet for all to awake for fervent prayer.
The times we are living in are not times to sleep or slumber, they are not times to be deaf to God’s voice. It is great to be alive at such a time as this, yet at the same time we have a great responsibility as God’s watchmen of the hour.
This month has coincided with the Jewish New Year festivities and the Ramadan for the muslims. Instantly you can tell there is a collision. Friend, there are no accidents with God. A war of faiths, a war of beliefs but above all, there is war in the heavenlies and we have to stand our ground and destroy every evil sounds that have been or are being released.
The Bible says, “Behold, I will make you to be a new, sharp, threshing instrument which has teeth; you shall thresh the mountains and beat them small, and shall make the hills like chaff. You shall winnow them, and the wind shall carry them away, and the tempest or whirlwind shall scatter them. And you shall rejoice in the Lord, you shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.” Isaiah 41:15-16
God has promised us that He will make us a NEW, SHARP, THRESHING INSTRUMENT which has TEETH. Wow!!!
Firstly, no longer shall the old rule in us. God will make us new. I see God releasing a new warrior’s anointing over our lives. I see God releasing new revelation knowledge to us in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. I see New strategies, a New Prayer life, a New Zeal for things of God; I see God transforming every old thing in us and making it new. God continues to say “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland” (Isaiah 43:19). God will release new prayer strategies to you this season that will bring life where death had taken control. Get Ready!!!
Secondly, God is not only going to give us a New prayer life; He is going to make it SHARP. We are going to move into a realm of targeted prayers, sharp prayers, piercing prayers that will utterly destroy the works of the enemy. I see us praying till the chains of those in prison are loosened, the dead are raised up and those planning crafty things being exposed and their schemes being destroyed (Job 5: 12-13) in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen . I see prophetic prayers filled with both the Word of Wisdom and knowledge. The Word of God, Our Sword, will be sharper in this season than ever before. Watch what you say because your words will be so sharp and could be painful at the same time.
Thirdly, we shall be made a THRESHING INSTRUMENT which has TEETH. When God talks about threshing, we need to take note that a harvest is in the making. This is not a normal harvest. It will need special feature, TEETH, to bring it in. I see God sharpening our prayers for the unsaved, prayers for the harvest. I see God intensifying our prayers for those in the mission field. I see God challenging us in our prayer time to pray desperate prayers..as if we were holding the harvest with our teeth. A fervency and an urgency is arising within us for our lost ones. Like Abraham, we are contesting with God “if there be but only one righteous in our home, please save us”. I pray that God will open our eyes to see the harvest. I pray that God will give us the strength to thresh the harvest and bring it in in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Friend, every mountain that is contrary to the will of God is tumbling down in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Every mountain of Islamic indoctrination, anti-Semitism; every mountain hindering your prayer life, I declare to you today that it is threshed and beat small in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. God is filling us with His Word that is sharp and accurate, that is penetrating every plan of darkness and causing it to achieve no success. Uncommon help, the wind of God, is coming our way in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. We agree that there are more with us than those against us and that our prayer life is transformed for good in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Friend, maintain a prayer-filled life. This season we need to be more alert than ever. Do not forget, God has done a NEW thing in us today. There is a celebration awaiting us, “And you shall rejoice in the Lord, you shall glory in the Holy One of Israel.”
Father, thank you for transforming us into a new, sharp, threshing instrument. Mold us and make us to be the best instrument for your use, O Lord. Change our prayer life. Make us threshing instruments with teeth. Cause us to embrace an aggressive prayer life, drawing many into the Kingdom in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
