A Month of Holy Fire
Friend, Praise the Lord! I know God has continued to show Himself strong and mighty on your behalf. My wife and I are forever grateful for His loving kindness and His tender mercies towards us.
This Month is going to be one of Holy Fire.
In Exodus 3:2-5 we read “And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.”
The Holy Fire we are going to experience will affect us in three major dimensions. We shall see the fire, we shall experience the fire and we shall be consumed by the fire; making us carriers of the Holy Fire of God. Indeed, get ready to experience a baptism of Fire. Do not be afraid of the fire, because it will not destroy you. Moses saw the fire. Moses experienced the fire. Moses carried the fire. This incident marked a turnaround in the ministry of Moses. He was never the same again. Moses so loved this glorious experience that he would spend forty nights up in the mountain with God. In one instance he came down the mountain and his face was glowing, he had to cover himself with a veil. God wants the same for us. Friend, God is going to set up divine opportunities for you to see the fire. My prayer is that as you encounter the God of Fire, the Holy Ghost Fire, you will not be the same again. I pray that you will not miss your encounter in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
The Scripture tells us that Moses saw, turned and that it was when he turned that God called him. I pray that you will not miss your calling in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Moses obeyed the call to experience the holy ground - what a glorious invitation. I see you being invited too; get ready, for Our God’s ultimate desire is that He may make His dwelling place with us. In Revelation 21:3 we read, “And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.”
Remember that Moses asked that God’s presence go with him and later on in Exodus 13:21 we read “And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night” . We never saw Moses fearful, weak or unsure of God’s presence and the children of Israel did not lack for a leader as long as Moses was alive. I see God visiting you and bringing light to every dark pathway and season of your life. Where people planned that you would miss your steps because of darkness, I see God illuminating your path. The Bible further says in Proverbs 4:18 that the paths of the righteous grow brighter and brighter to the fullness of day. Moses asked God and God granted him his desires. I pray that, like a deer panting for the waters, your soul will pant for His fire, that you will be consumed and will live for Him and Him alone so that like Paul you can confidently say that it is no longer Paul that lives but Christ in him.
Friend, Elijah saw the fire fall from heaven and after that experience he went ahead to kill four hundred and fifty prophets of baal. Lot saw the fire destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Remember that this fire destroys the enemies of righteousness.
I pray that God will fill you, consume you, and surround you with His Holy Fire. May you never be the same again. Like Moses, may God visit you with His fire. A fire that purifies, and sanctifies. May you be a torchbearer for Christ in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
