A Month of Decisions

Praise the Name of Our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ! I know you are blessed and well kept by Him. HE has indeed remained faithful to my wife and I and we continue to learn of His great love each and every day.

This Month will be a month of decisions. Get ready for occasions where you will be required to make major decisions.

In Isaiah 48:17, the Bible reads “This is what the LORD says - your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: "I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to my commands, your peace would have been like a river, your righteousness like the waves of the sea.”

Friend, many times when we read a short Bible Scripture like the one above, it is unlikely that our natural ear will hear what God is saying unless with the help of the Holy Spirit. This Scripture is very apt for us this month.

Right from the very beginning of this verse, God wants us to know Him so He reveals Himself to us through His names. One of the names He uses is, The Lord (i.e., He owns everything). Just like a landlord owns the house, the earth and the fullness thereof is HIS. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills; silver and gold belongs to Him. Another name He uses is Our Redeemer. His plans are to redeem you, to buy you back from all your captors. He comes to set us free from curses, from bondages, from corrupted mindsets and once redeemed, you change ownership. You become His. This gives us access to His treasures.

Other names are, The Holy One, The Lord Our God, Our Teacher, Our Director, Our Guide, Our Commander, Our Peace, Our Righteousness. God knows that this month we are going to face major decision making moments therefore He is whispering to us - I AM YOUR TEACHER, I AM YOUR DIRECTOR, I AM YOUR PEACE. You see friend, the devil and his cohorts have evil plans for you and I, BUT God has the best plans for you. He wants you to allow Him to be able to guide you as you face these decision. He wants you to commit your ways unto Him so He can direct your paths. HE has good plans for us, His plans are to give us a future and an expected end. Hallelujah!!!

The same Scripture indirectly warns us not to be like the Israelites who at that time had refused to receive the best counsel, from the source of all Wisdom, God. God is Our Wisdom. God is and has all that we will ever desire. We need to pay attention to His commands. I see us getting solutions to life’s puzzles as we read the Word of God and as we walk in obedience to Him. Friend, He will direct your paths and He will never lead you astray. The Author of Life, never lies. Let every man be a liar BUT God’s nature is Truth and as Jesus declared, He is the Way, The Truth and the Life.

As you encounter life changing decisions this month, it is my prayer that God Almighty will give you Wisdom to seek Him first in every decision so that your decisions may be pleasing unto Him. I pray that we will have an attentive spirit. I pray that our inner man shall hear what thus says the Lord. I pray that we shall walk in the prophetic and that we shall have discernment in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Because of the spirit of obedience that is going to rest upon us, we will receive peace like a river in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. As we invite God, Our Peace, we shall have peace in every decision we make, and our decisions shall bring peace.

Wherever a river goes, it clears the way and brings revival and life to all its banks. We declare that, as the river of PEACE flows our way, we will receive healing and revival. The dead things in our lives will start to grow because of the river of peace from heaven in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. We declare that our righteousness, like the waves of the sea, shall cause us to go deeper and deeper in the things of God. This will help us make righteous decisions, just decisions, which will be a blessing to many in Jesus Name, Amen.

Declaration.

Friend, let us make a declaration “God, you know what is best for us, have your way in our lives. Father, you who art Our Lord, we commit all the decisions that we will make this month and many years to come into your care; be glorified Jesus in your Faithful Name, Amen.
