Expect Explosions!
Friend, Praise the Lord!! I am confident that you and your household are well. My wife and I are thankful to God for allowing us to step into this season of Explosions.
Friend, expect a season characterized with explosions. As I meditated on this, Acts 16 dropped in my spirit. Here we see an explosion in the form of an earthquake and that is what God desires that I share with you for this season.
An explosion is a sudden outburst, a violent release, a burst, a sudden reaction. All these are but small compared to what God has in store for us this year. Friend, GET READY!!!
In the Book of Acts, we encounter one such explosion. An earthquake. One day, on their way to prayer, Paul and Silas, met a slave girl with a spirit of divination and cast the spirit out of her. Her owner, angry at the loss of income she was making for him, instigates the crowd against them. Paul and Silas are dragged to the market place and flogged.
The story continues as follows. “22The crowd joined in the attack against Paul and Silas, and the magistrates ordered them to be stripped and beaten. 23After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully. 24Upon receiving such orders, he put them in the inner cell and fastened their feet in the stocks. 25About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them. 26Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everybody's chains came loose. 27The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. 28But Paul shouted, "Don't harm yourself! We are all here!" 29The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30He then brought them out and asked, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"”
(Acts 16:22-30).
Let us look at some key ingredients of the explosion described above: -
1) Paul & Silas, though in Jail, prayed and sang hymns then the earthquake took place. Friend, I see God giving you uncommon prayers and unique praise and worship strategies that you will use against all the forces of darkness. Just as He did it for Paul and Silas, Joshua, and Jehosaphat, I see Him do it for you. As you pray and sing praises to His Holy Name, every false foundation is going to be destroyed. When an explosion takes place, things are overturned. I pray for a total overhaul of every ungodly thing, every ungodly alter, every ungodly idol, I declare an overthrow and only the foundation of Christ to stand in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
2) The Bible is very clear about the time the earthquake took place. Midnight. I tdeclare that in this season of explosions, your midnight explosion is on the way and that your midnight hour shall be a turning point; from captivity to liberty in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Midnight is generally one of the darkest time of the night. Friend, your darkest night is passing over and your morning has drawn nigh in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
3) The Bible says that all the Prison Doors flew open. In this season of explosions, expect uncommon doors to open; doors to witness for Christ like never before, doors for ministry, doors for promotions, doors for financial increase, doors for business ventures, doors to high places, doors to places where only God knows and has destined for us before the foundations of the earth. Doors that no eye has seen and no ear has heard about. I am expectant at the doors that God has for us. More importantly, I see a greater revelation of The Door, Jesus Christ. God will fill us with a Spirit of Revelation of the Knowledge of who Jesus Christ is to those of us that believe.
4) Apart from the door, we are told that everybody’s chains came loose. Friend, expect explosions that will set loose our chains. It is the strategy of the devil to chain us. The devil chains in different ways and using different means. He chains us through traditions, fear, debt, low self-esteem, human inadequacies etc. I have news for you. NO MORE CHAINS…there are no limits to what God can do through us. Every chain the enemy has ever placed on us is being loosed in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Every chain of darkness, chains of witchcraft, chains known and unknown to us we render them destroyed in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Every yoke the devil and his cohorts have placed on us, we declare them destroyed in Jesus Powerful Name, Amen.
5) From the above Bible Passage, we are told that immediately the Jailer woke up, he wanted to kill himself, thinking that all the prisoners had run away. Paul however shouted, "Don't harm yourself! We are all here!" Friend, explosions are going to open hard hearts to Christ. The Mighty works that God is going to do will position us at the right place to save lives from destruction and damnation and we will be able to lead them to the Savior Jesus Christ. Expect divine positioning and appointments. Expect the salvation of those that you had given up on. (Shout amen!)
6) The passage also states “The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas”. What a sense of humor our God has. God is declaring that in this season of explosions, those who had you bound, had you suppressed and oppressed and in bondage will come and bow down to you. I see God lifting up the meek, the lowly, the despised, and the rejected and making them to sit in high places. In Ecclesiastes 10:7, Solomon says that he has seen an evil in the land and he states the evil as… “I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth” This anomaly is ending in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. An Explosion turns things around. That which was under will suddenly find itself on top and that which was on top finds itself buried. Expect a burial of some things in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. On the flip side, expect a turn around, an elevation in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
7) The Bible goes further to say “He brought them out” Friend, your prison life is over. You will be brought out in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Out of your depression, out of every sickness that has constantly held you down, out of every oppressive relationship, out of every bondage, and out of every environment that limited you, in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. This is a season of liberty. The explosions that come will bring liberty, release and freedom in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
8) Finally, a gracious question, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”, I see your family, your friends, the so called “your enemies” asking this gracious question “what must I do to be saved”. The jailer and his entire household got saved and were baptized. I see families coming to the Lord in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. What happened to the Jailer? What happened to Cornelius? What happened to Lydia and what happened to Noah and his household?…I see the same thing happening to you. Your entire household, coming to the knowledge and acceptance of Christ. The “doubters” shall see the mighty acts of God and ask you "Sir, what must I do to be saved?” in Jesus Faithful Name, Amen.
9) A word of caution, do not forget, that the explosion, the earthquake, is all God’s doing and it is to Him alone that we give all the glory. May God help us to cultivate a thankful spirit for all that He will do for us. It is marvelous what He has in store for us. Get ready.
Friend, let us pray…
Prayer
Lord, thank you for the explosions that you have for us, thank you for the new songs that you are placing in our spirit. Thank you for the spirit of prayer that you are filling us with. Lord Jesus, thank you for turning our midnight to noon and opening uncommon doors for us in Your Mighty Name, Amen. God, thank you for the chains that you are cutting loose from us, thank you for divine positioning and thank you Father for household salvation. We declare that we have stepped into a season of explosion and that explosions are taking place and we are positioned to enjoy every divine after-effect of these explosions in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
