Friend, Praise the Lord! I know that the Lord, who has kept you thus far, has a blessing for you. My wife and I are well and continue to remain grateful for His mercies and His goodness towards us.
This Month, I urge you to celebrate THE LAMB OF GOD which taketh away the sin of the world. Yes, if you can, get together with some friends and thank God for the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ.
Never forget, it is the sacrifice of God that makes us acceptable to God. Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God, accepted to become the Passover Lamb for you and I so that we would be accepted by God. This Easter season, I would like you to meditate on Jesus as THE LAMB OF GOD.
When John the Baptist saw Jesus, he said “…Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.” John1:29.
In Egypt – An old covenant
On the night the children of Israel were being delivered from bondage in Egypt, any home that did not have the blood of the lamb on the doors, the angel of death came in and killed the first born of that home. (Exodus 12)
- The blood of the lamb guaranteed deliverance. May the blood of the Lamb of God speak for you in every situation that is posing danger to your life in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
- Because of the Lamb that had been killed, light, joy and celebration was evident in Goshen, the camp of the Israelites, while darkness and gloom and wailing was heard in the Egyptian homes. Friend, because of your acceptance of the finished work of the Lamb of God, joy shall fill your homestead, celebration shall fill your mouth and instead of ashes God will bless you with uncommon joy in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
- That one sacrifice so pleased God that a people that had been in bondage for over 400 years were set free in one night. Friend, I do not know what has you bound, your family members, your community, country or your continent; – I have good news; THE LAMB OF GOD is the PERFECT sacrifice for God and deliverance is coming your way in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. Expect those that have been in bondage to be set free to the lorry of God. Amen.
Now – The New Covenant, Jesus Christ – Our Mediator.
The Bible says in Hebrews that Jesus is a prophet likened unto Moses. Whereas Moses brought in the old covenant, Jesus was the Mediator, the Lamb that was killed for the sealing of the new covenant. Hebrews 8:6 says “But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, and it is founded on better promises.”
Friend, The LAMB of GOD, the MEDIATOR of the new covenant, has given you access
This Easter, celebrate knowing that Jesus has granted you access to a superior covenant. This is sealed by His own blood. The life of anything is in the blood. Because Jesus Christ sealed this covenant with His life, I decree that everything that would want to bring death, sicknesses, depression, accidents, any kind of fear your way, will be destroyed in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
A mediator brings two parties together. Jesus, The Mediator of the new covenant, has brought you to God and now you are His. Therefore, if God be for you, no plan of darkness will prevail over you in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. I declare that those that are gathering against you or your family, your ministry or anything that is yours will be brought to shame in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen. God will arise on your behalf in every situation that you are facing in Jesus Wonderful Name, Amen.
- It is founded on better promises
In the old covenant, they had to memorize all the commandments. In the new, He inscribes His WORD on our hearts and His Spirit guides us to fulfill it. The old covenant pointed people to sin but in the new, The Lamb of God, takes away the sin of the world. We receive forgiveness through Him and our sins are thrown into a sea of forgetfulness. This was not possible under the old covenant so thank God for the Lamb of God. Accepting this new covenant makes you more than a party to it, you become a son of God. To all who believed on Him, He gave power to become sons of God. As a son, you now have a legal right to inherit all that God has.
Friend, I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:18). God’s plan for you and I are for good; His plan for giving us the Lamb of God is glorious. May you catch this truth and run with it in Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
Have a blessed Easter,
Bro. Chester
